Toronto Beading
Show Pictures
The
2009 Toronto Beading Show was held in the North Building
at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. All in all
the show was a lot of fun with numerous vendors taking
part over the 3 days.
Upon
entering the convention center, we were greeted by the
staff working the registration desk, signed in, paid or
admission fees and entered the show. The actual
vendor portion of the show occupied 2 large rooms in the
convention center however you were able to easy go
between both rooms via the large openings.
There
were an vast variety of vendors with products on display
and for sale. Some of the larger on-line outfits
were at the show selling all sorts of beading supplies
while some of the other vendors included displays from
specific artists and designers.
For our
needs we were mainly there to gather up some bargains on
beading supplies and to hopefully establish some
contacts for unique products that we could use to design
our own unique creations.
In
addition to the great deals from many of vendors, the
show also had numerous workshops going on with classes
on how-to and other instructional courses.
Unfortunately, we did not register for any classes
however will make it a point to do so for future shows.
The show was well worth the time to attend and a great
value for any beading enthusiasts.
